Water-ring vacuum pump VVN 2-50
The VVN2-50M water-ring vacuum pump is designed to generate vacuum when working with air or inert gases insoluble in water, and with vapour-gas mixtures pre-cleaned of entrained moisture. It can also provide roughing vacuum for high-vacuum installations.
The advantage of VVN2-50M pumps and units is their ability to evacuate any gas or vapour, including contaminated and dust-laden media.
Design
GORMAK’s design dispenses with the thrust bearing used by other manufacturers. The pump uses only two 13520 GOST 8545-75 bearings, which substantially simplifies servicing and repair.
The rotor is of welded construction, so rotor materials can be varied widely to match operating conditions. The working surface of the casing and the outer surfaces of the impeller can be enamel-coated.

In VVN 2-50 M: VVN — pump type; 2 — version with a nominal initial pressure of 0.02 MPa; 50 — capacity in m³/min; M — modernised wetted-end material.
